1950 – September – The Bowls Section had its first AGM, Mr WJ Corbet was in the chair and 22 members were present. The acting Secretary thanked Mr WJ Corbet for the generosity purchase of land. A league was created for 8 teams won by the Conway team. The Treasurer reported 36 members had joined paying 2/6d each. Green fees was charged at 1/- making a grand total of £14.06d.
